Rural Justice Summit
This year’s Rural Justice Summit – Creating a Roadmap for Change -- will take place on March 29th at UC Merced from 8:30am-5pm and March 30th at the Merced MultiCultural Arts Center from 11:30am-5pm. The event, co-hosted by California Institute for Rural Studies, UC Merced Center for Humanities, Community Alliance for Agroecology, Dulce UpFront Arts Collective, and UC Davis Center for Regional Change will feature scholars, community organizers, and artists.
Launched in 2016, the Rural Justice Summit addresses the critical need for a place of conversations and action on a variety of issues that affect rural Californians. Every year the demand (and waiting list) grows and now the event is expanding to two days.
